| Johan Ral holds a degree in medicine, communication and European law - all from the Free University of Brussels (VUB). For ten years he worked as a producer, reporter and anchorman with the former Flemish public radio and TV. He then joined Kredietbank, where he was in charge of internal and external communication.
For the six years prior to joining European Communication Strategies (CS), now Akkanto, he was Senior Consultant and Managing Director with Burson-Marsteller in Brussels. At CS, he is a specialist in strategic advice (including strategic message development), internal communication, crisis communication, media relations and communication training. In his spare time, Johan is a freelance researcher and writer on the history of popular music, particularly of the Sixties, The Beatles and Eric Clapton. In March 2002, he founded The Belgian Beatles Society. A Belgian national, Johan operates in English, Dutch, French and German.
